Susan Gray
Originally from South Africa, Susan Gray brings a global perspective and a lifelong commitment to community well-being. She served at 4Cs (Community Coordinated Child Care) from 1997 to 2019, holding key leadership roles including Director of the Home Ties Child Care Center, Education and Training Coordinator, and Executive Director from 2006 to 2019.
With more than two decades of experience in nonprofit management, early childhood care, and community support, Susan offers invaluable insight as the Immigrant Welcome Network of Johnson County (IWNJC) continues to grow and strengthen its programs. Her background in guiding one of Johnson County’s most trusted nonprofits for nearly half a century provides critical wisdom, stability, and strategic guidance during IWNJC’s formative years.
Susan’s cross-cultural experience and longstanding commitment to children and families make her a powerful advocate for immigrant and nonimmigrant families seeking belonging, opportunity, and stability.
