Nancy Reincke is a retired professor of English at Drake University, where she taught for more than thirty years, including courses focused on American immigrant literature and the experiences of historically marginalized communities. Her academic work included leading student learning experiences in Mexico focused on the causes and conditions of migration from Latin America.

Nancy brings extensive experience in education, financial stewardship, critical analysis, and community engagement. She is an active member of New Song Episcopal Church, which is committed to welcoming and supporting newcomers in Johnson County. As Board Treasurer, Nancy provides financial oversight and governance support while advancing IWNJC's mission of empowering low-income immigrants and refugees through leadership development, community organizing, and advocacy.
