Haitham is from Sudan and came to IWNJC in order to make a positive difference in the immigrant/refugee community in Iowa City. Haitham enjoys spending time with family and sharing his culture. As a former doctor in Saudi Arabia, Haitham is always emphasizing and educating the importance of health for immigrants who may not know the physical and mental impacts of adapting to the American lifestyle.
