Jordan Brown
Growing up in deep South Georgia without the funds for my own car, I directly experienced the effects of living in an environment with a lack of design for diverse forms of transport. My own struggles of traversing the sprawling city streets on bike, no bus or taxi in sight, inspired me to leave my town and seek out this "new crazy way of life" I'd discovered in just YouTubing how to grocery shop on two wheels. That set me off to learn about these places where I didn't need a car and where people chose to travel this way, fully taking part of each other in these cities centered on communal space and travel. From childcare to waiting tables to factory work, I've worked in many conditions and environments from a young age, leading me to encounter many people and develop a love for people and the community that public spaces can foster. I also became a hard-working individual that adapts to the situation he's put in, my affinity for adversity shown in my post gap years-return to school. I'm inspired by this goal of fostering these communal spaces I discovered years ago as a kid and have always delighted employers and employees alike at the workplace. Consider me a team-player that can also function by himself and deliver what is necessary. I would love to form part of your project. Thank you.
