Come join the Immigrant Welcome Network of Johnson County for the second annual Gala, a night of fun dancing, music, and good food to raise money for the local immigrant community here in Iowa City. The 2nd annual Gala is one of the main events that the IWNJC runs to raise rent for the welcoming house, a home where the IWNJC welcomes new families to the county before they can be connected to rented housing.
The IWNJC is still looking for volunteers to help with the event. There are a multitude of opportunities to aid with the IWNJC, from anywhere from decorations to kitchen staff, there is a role for you!

Global Iowa City Gala
A Special Thank You To Our Last Year’s Sponsors!
We extend many thanks to our generous sponsors as we celebrate the Immigrant Welcome Network of Johnson County's one year anniversary at the Global Iowa City Gala. Their support has been instrumental in making this milestone possible.
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Iowa City, Green State Credit Union ($1,000), New Song Episcopal Church ($2,000), Malott Law Firm, and the First United Methodist Church, we can host this gala celebrating a year of providing essential services and resources to immigrant and refugee families in our community. Their contributions help us create a more welcoming and inclusive Johnson County for years to come.
